LIBRARY
Infrastructure: The area of the school campus is about Ten acres, i.e. 40,468 sq mts with a built up area of Two acres i.e. 8,093 sq mts. With sprawling grounds, it is divided into Primary and Secondary blocks.
Introduction:
The CRPF Public School Library provides academic resources for all constituents of the school -students, faculty and administrative staff. The library strives to make resources readily accessible when and wherever they are needed to enhance and promote the total growth and development of the students. The library endeavors to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize materials in a variety of formats to access information so that they can continue lifelong learning.
LIBRARY INFORMATION
The school has a well-stocked, equipped library with books and journals for reading and reference. There are more than 8,000 books( Total ) in three languages English, Hindi and Telugu. It enables, encourages and empowers teaching and learning for all members of the school community. The role of the library is to provide a dynamic and flexible space that is innovatively designed with best practices and research in mind where students can explore and use various resources in different formats. They are encouraged to grow and become passionate learners and individuals where the world of knowledge opens up to them.
LIBRARY HOURS :
The CRPF Public School Library is open to its members on Six days, except on school calendared holidays and national holidays. Library operates as per under mentioned schedule till further notice:
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Saturday)
Circulation
It is our aim to assist all students, staff and parents. The library has 8,000 volumes that include Academic books, fiction/non-fiction, audio/video, etc.
Returns
Books should be returned within 15 days from the date of issue. If overdue of books a fine of Rs.5/- per a week to be collected from the students.
Overdue Books
Students, Staff will be reminded of their overdue books once a month. If this is a constant problem, they will not be allowed to check out books till all overdue books are returned. Books can be renewed to avoid an overdue problem.
Lost Books
The library should be notified immediately if a book is lost. A charge for the replacement cost of the book will be assessed. If the book is found the money will be refunded.
